We have a pottte that we keep in the car. The main advantage for that one so far is that if you are using it with the liners, you don't need an IMMEDIATE place to dump it. We pulled over in the middle of no where when DS shouted that he had to poop on a road trip recently. He pooped on the side of a dusty road, we sealed it all up and went on our way.
DS insists on using his $3 ikea potty at home and takes it with him on overnights to gramma's but it is not quite right for side of the road emergency poops.

We actually have a Potette in our car AND an Ikea potty and she prefers the Ikea one.
