Do you like that life vest for Dane?  I just got it for Christopher for our trip to Hawaii.

    It's alright, as far as life jackets go.  It chafes against his big gigantic cheeks!

    Just on the boat, so far.  Hopefully that will change this weekend! 

    When are you going to Hawaii?  I'm jealous.

    At the end of the month.  My mom took us to California in March and he absolutely loved the ocean, but it was too cold to swim.  I am hoping to actually get him in the ocean while we are there.  We have an inflatable inner tube, but I don't know how that will work with waves and what not.

    Oh man, that's awesome!  Is it just the 3 of you going? 

    I hope to get Dane in the lake this weekend.  It's supposed to be pretty nice out... but the lake is still very chilly.

    No...the in-laws are taking us and his two sisters.  Do you remember when they took us to St. Martin 3 years ago and then Hawaii two years ago?  They are amazing!  We are so lucky!  If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't travel EVER.

    Yup - St. Martin was right before I found out I was pregnant.  No, he was not conceived there.  :)

    We went to Kauai when he was only 3-months-old.

    Are you going back to Kauai?  Or some different part of Hawaii?  I have never been - I don't know much about it at all.

    They are taking us to Maui this time.  They rented a beautiful town home near the beach and there is a pool too.  It will be perfect with Christopher.  I am so glad his younger sister is going too because she loves to babysit, which means we can go diving with his parents!

    Daaaaamn!  That sounds like a dream.  Can I come in your suitcase?

    Gotta love babysitters.  H's twin cousins (15 yrs old) are coming up north this weekend.  They can watch Dane if we want to go off and do something fun, like go sailing.  Yay!

    Babysitters are definitely awesome.  I am pretty anal about who we leave Christopher with too, so this is perfect!

    Do you mind squishing in our scuba bag?  It might be a little tight in there.
