Today sucks

It's my due date.  At the library today, I hear a lady introducing her tiny baby boy-his name is Edward-the name we probably would have used for Quincy if he had come home with us.  I stared at that tiny baby thinking, why does he get to live when mine doesn't?  And then I felt like an awful person.

I just read that Josh & Anna Duggar had a baby boy this week and they have a 20 month old daughter.  My daughter is 20 months old and I should be having a baby boy this week.  

Thank goodness DH is off early today!

    That sounds like a very bad day. I have no words that could make it any better for you.  I will say that I am incredibly inspired by your faith during this tragic time.  I will say an extra prayer for you tonight.  All your children can feel your love for them, and are blessed to have you as a mom.

    I'm so sorry. I know I felt a greater sense of "closure" - for lack of a less cliched phrase - after we passed the Doodles' due date. I hope you find the same and the rest of the day is better for you. Big hugs.
