Where to stop along I-75S

We are driving to Georgia tomorrow and I am not looking forward to the long drive with a toddler.  Does anyone know of places we can stop along 75 that have a place for her to play and release some energy?  Thanks!

Re: Where to stop along I-75S

  • We stopped at a big park in Valdosta and a bounce place just north of Atlanta. I will look up the info when I get home.

  • We stopped at the rest stops and ran around in the grass. That kept our toddler happy. She did very well with the dvd player for our 13 hour drive to FL.

  • There is a Monkey Joe's in Marietta GA, just off 75.  Monkeyjoes.com

    Barrett Parkway

    50 Barrett Pkwy. Suite 111

    Marietta, GA 30066

We also stopped at a really nice park in Macon GA.

    Water Works Park Macon GA

1099 N. Pierce Ave., Macon, GA, 31204 https://tinyurl.com/3qzjuwu The website mentions a fee to park.  I don't know where that parking is, but there is no fee to park near the playground.

Hope that helps.  We drove down to Orlando in April.  I was amazed at how well Cole did in the car.  Good luck, hope it goes well for you.

Also, sorry about the formating.  I just copied and pasted.  Too tired to fix it.

When B was 11 mos, we spent a decent amount of time at the Jellico rest stop...  some of the other places sound great too!
