  Yes!  We just went out to Palm Desert and stayed at a timeshare that you can rent from a website called redweek.com you can also call Marriott direct or any other timeshares but I think it would cost more.  Basically people that have timeshares they aren't going to use put them on there for rent.  The only down side is they are usually for 7 days so not sure if that will work for you. 

  We stayed at the Marriott Villas which is adjacent to the JW Marriott.

  But the reason why I liked a timeshare vs a hotel is this:  You are basically renting an apartment meaning there are doors to bedrooms so the baby can sleep and you can enjoy yourself in the living area.  There is a full kitchen stocked with cooking supplies you just bring the food and spices and condiments.  There is a washer and dryer in the room so you don't have to pack everything in your closet.   There are pools, kiddie pools, and activities planned a play area for the kids, bike rentals, dancing lessons, wine tasting etc...  The pools have service including food and cocktails.  Also you get to park right in front of your unit and with all the extra stuff you will be bringing for the bambino you will appreciate that. 

  They also gave us a discount card to use at the JW Marriott for 20% off of the spa treatments and discounts at the restaurants. 

  For my family we have a 3.5 and a 2 year old it was the perfect little get away.
