Question about etsy

I have never ordered from Etsy before, but I want to. Do I have to set up a Paypal account? Is it safe? I just want to hear some feedback from everyone that has ordered from Etsy and that have a Paypal account before I set one up.

I've ordered a lot of things from etsy and always had great success. In my opinion it's a lot more controlled and safe than even ebay is! And Paypal is the same - very safe and easy to use!!

I actually just ordered the nursery wall decal today off there, but bought all my wedding jewellery (for myself, bridesmaids and mother) on there too. Anything I've ever ordered has arrived quickly and has been exactly what I expected!

I luurve Paypal. I use it everywhere I can, because then I don't have to enter my card number. I've also never had a bad experience on etsy, and I've ordered several times. You should be able to read feedback on any seller (unless it's their first sale, obviously). Seeing a good feedback score helps me feel safe in trusting the seller. I say go for it! I think etsy is the bomb diggity!

Both are very reputable. I'm sure there are some less-than-honest sellers on Etsy, but just stick with one with good reviews and you'll be fine!

I love paypal. very safe and easy. Also Etsy is a great site.. I haven't had a problem with anyone I've ordered from.

I ordered a lot of stuff from etsy for my wedding and I never had an issue. I actually felt safer on there than I do ordering stuff from ebay. It seems more personal or something for some reason.

Etsy is AMAZING!!! I ordered tons of stuff off of there for my wedding and have just started to purchase things for the baby (wall decals, burp cloths, headbands, etc). It's super easy to use and I've always felt extremely safe using PayPal. Just make sure you look over the seller's profile and order from someone who has good feedback and has sold a lot of stuff! Have fun....it's totally addicting!
