I'm waiting until the start of the 2nd tri. We're actually having a surprise Bday party for my mom the day the 2nd tri begins for me, so I'll tell all the family I haven't yet then I'll announce on FB. I plan to post a pic from the NT scan and write "Baby (my last name) due in January"

We anounced it this week. DH posted "I like it when you call me big Papa" and I posted "The bun is in the oven and will be baking until approx 1/23/12"

It was a bit early but we are so happy we did it. We definitely got slammed with all the messages but it was so cool to see how many people are so happy for us

We are announcing on Father's Day. I am just going to say "Happy Father's Day to my dad, father-in-law and my husband (who will get to try out his parenting skills at the end of the year)." I am so excited because I am an AW!

So THAT'S what SS stands for!! I'd always wondered, but figured it meant "other" either way.

We've already announced it on facebook. We knew it'd be on there as soon as we started telling people, so once we told family & a few close friends, we went ahead and announced it by uploading this picture. Our parents told the rest of our families, so we didn't get to tell many people ourselves, so we wanted to be the ones to at least out ourselves on FB.

we already announced it on FB. we just flat out told everyone that we were gonna have a baby. We only put it on FB after we told important people though (family and close friends)

I suppose eventually we will, but I'm not looking forward to it. It just seems to AWish to me (not calling people who announce on FB an AW, I just feel like one lol). I wish someone would accidentally slip and post something about it on my page. We didn't even tell anyone not to tell and people still haven't! Where are our family's blabber traps?

Already announced!! We announced after our 2nd US last week. We have both moved around a lot, and wanted to be able to share US pics and the news with all of our friends, so it was the easiest way. I changed my pic to our US pic and my status said that my DH and I would have new names January 2012 "mommy and daddy". Stick out tongue

We announced it on FB a week ago after telling family and important friends. It was fun to get all those congratulatory messages, made it all seem a little more real I suppose. Plus, it's nice to not feel like we're hiding it anymore!

We've already told immediate family and work, but we are going to tell the rest of DH's huge family at a 4th of July picnic (only b/c this is when we'll see them all). After that we'll announce on FB. I'm going to post this picture- and say "Jackson's reaction when I read his shirt to him."

If you can't read it it says: I'm going to be a big brother (I know, I peed my pants when I heard the news too!)

I will eventually announce it but I don't want anyone that I am in contact with regularly to find out that way. My extended family will find out on Fourth of July (10 weeks 1 day) and I will probably call/text other friends shortly after. I will swear them to Facebook secrecy until I make the announcement at work (hopefully not until 13 weeks).

I am sure once it gets out at work all bets will be off for keeping any kind of secret. Those people are SO NOSY!

We put it on FB after everything looked good at my 8 wk u/s. My mom was so excited that I knew she wouldn't be able to keep it to herself much longer, so I went ahead and put it up on there (my mom has fb too).
