DH is working all day, so Henry and I are going to visit him at work and bring him lunch at headquarters. I also got a few cards at tiny prints and a gift certificate. What is everyone else doing?
I got DH a beer and pizza of the month club. I will also have G "draw" a picture and put it in a frame for him. Not sure what we will do that day. He will be at the US Open all day Saturday so he may be pretty worn out.

"Normal day, let me be aware of the treasured day you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart...let me hold you while I may."
I got him a Cleveland Browns thermometer for the garage and a watch. I think we might go out for brunch or something that morning. We'll have to see how the boys are.

As of right now, I'm slacking in this department. DH is doing a triathlon that morning at 7:20 am, ugh. It's over an hour away from us, too. I bought cards for all of the kids, but that's as far as I've gotten.

I did the D-A-D pictures that I've seen people do on here in the past and framed them from Andrew. From me....I've got nothing. I was going to get him his iPhone (which he planned to upgrade to anyway this month) but I was ran into difficulties with Verizon and our current plan so I just threw in the towel! So....he's probably getting a raincheck on an iPhone and I'll let him figure it out!
We'll be out of town at my parents on Sunday, then driving back to VA, so I'll also let him sleep in that morning!
Here are the pics:

I got him The Wire: Season 4 DVD set, a new cd, and a new electric razor. I also had Matts picture taken at a studio (wearing a Sabres shirt and holding a Sabres stick, and one of him wearing a button down white shirt with a tie). Matt painted a wooden frame and colored him a picture. I'm making him breakfast in bed, his favorite dinner, and then we'll probably go out for ice cream.
TTC for 19 months. Dx: PCOS. 3 IUI's with Clomid= BFN 1st IUI with injectables= BFP
My DH wants to fly an airplane (from his bucket list) so I got him a gift certificate for a 30-40 minute lesson. If the weather is nice, then he will do that Sunday morning and then we'll do brunch or something nice outside. If the weather sucks, then he'll do the flying lesson next week and we will go to an Auto Museum and brunch. He loves cars, boats, planes etc.
He says I never plan anything so I am trying to plan a nice day for him.
He's getting a painted mug from the girls. I took them to one of those paint your own pottery places a couple weeks ago and Stella went to town painting the mug. Then I put their fingerprints all over the mug and turned them into butterflies. I pick it up tomorrow and am pretty sure it's going to be heinous. He'll love it anyway!
I also got him a Bacon Freak gift pack.
We're doing brunch with my mom and step-dad on Sunday and then I'm making a special dinner for him that night.
Hopefully it's nice so we can enjoy some time outside!

I got DH a card, but no present this year... maybe next year when we don't have all the hospital bills from the birth to deal with.
But we are actually going out for the first time without the baby on Father's Day with some friends. My sister is baby sitting. We are going to an outdoor Shakespeare performance.

Not sure what we're doing but I just got DH a Wii! I'm a huge video game OPPonent - as in, I swore we'd never have a console in our home. But DH really wants one and we can stream Netflix - plus he's been such a superstar with my diagnosis that I feel like he really deserves something just for him.
I am a runner, knitter, scientist, DE-IVF veteran, and stage III colon cancer survivor.
I got my husband a hammock and we may go out for brunch with my dad on Sunday.
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
Made him a personalized photo card from Tinyprints and got him a copper wine chilling bucket (sounds silly but he loves wine stuff and wanted something like that for our dining room). I tried to get Toodle to draw him a picture but he is not a huge fan of coloring so didn't get very far. Oh well.
My boys each fingerpainted on a canvas for DH. I then put each of their handprint as a "signature" with the year. They loved it- and I am sure DH will love it and hang them in his den.
I got my DH a dogtag with Madison's info on it. He will be able to wear it with his own while he is deployed. I also got a card and I am going to trace her handprint inside of it.

We are having a birthday party for the babies. They turn ONE on Saturday, but it worked out better to have the party on Sunday. Other than that, I just got DH a card (which is more than DH did for me on mother's day)
Re: What's everyone doing/giving for Father's Day?
Told DH he gets to pick out a new grill.... He looks like he won the lottery.
@desa - I'm sure I would've gotten the same love over pizza and beer of the month club though... def filing that one away for next year.

Sunday we are going to the ILs for brunch. Part of my gift to DH is not making him talk about how much his parents manipulate him.
I also ordered him a big pillow for our hammock in the back yard so he can read and take a nap out there this summer.

He wants to 1) sleep in 2) read the paper 3) golf 4) spend time with us. All very singular activities, but oh well, it is his day.
Unfortunately for him his bff's wife planned their twin sons' birthday party right smack dab in the middle of the day. A little rude IMO.
I bought matching guayabera shirts for him and both boys. So cute!!
