AW - Last day of pumping!

Phew.  I made it!

I had a relatively easy time BFing, but it still was a challenge to provide for DD while working FT.  I am very lucky that all is still going well, and we will continue to nurse when we're together until we're ready to wean, but the pump is going away as of tonight!

A funny story about the beginning of BFing: I started BFing while DD was in the NICU and there were nurses everywhere, always being very helpful and supportive.  DH overhead one nurse say to another at a shift change, "Mom and baby are doing great with BFing.  Mom has the best BFing nipples in the world!"

DH was so proud!  Embarrassed

    Man, way to go!!  You are awesome!!!  I'm so excited for you to kick that pump to the curb!!  its the best feeling ever!!! 

    and lol at your DH (and the nurse!!)  HA!!

    I am so proud of you!! You did an amazing job making breastfeeding work with a full time job, and you should be so proud of yourself too! I am planning on dropping the pump too, in about a month. Enjoy!

    LOL at the nipple talk... such a comment would NEVER be made about my nipples (but we are still going strong) :)

    Congrats!

    I will be done with the pump soon too.  I can't wait!!

    Congratulations on making it to a year!  That's a huge deal when working FT (or for anyone, really).  And congrats on getting your life back -- the pump sucks (no pun intended).  Oh, and congrats to your very accomplished nips as well.  :-)
