I have been going to "Professionals for Womans Health" here in Westerville, but I am not pleased with the lack of "personal" touch. This is my first (and probably ONLY) pregnancy, and I am 41...and I want it to be a wonderful experience! I really want to deliver at St. Anns, so the OB would have to be affiliated.
Any advice/recommendations are welcomed!!
Thank you!
Beth
Re: Obstetrician that you would recommend?
I don't usually post here, I tend to post more on the Columbus nestie board. I absolutely love Dr. Michael Parker. We had trouble conceiving and he was the most patient caring man ever. I had my son at St. Ann's and due to high bp and severe toxemia my son came a week early and I ended up being delivered by Dr. John Russ who is also in the practice. Both doctors are amazing. I had some major complications during delivery and Dr. Russ was there when I delivered at 8:43 am and did not leave the hospital until close to midnight after he made sure I was stable. They are at Northeast OBGYN in Gahanna. I believe they deliver at St Ann's and Grant.
I go to Todd Jenkins, who is with Premier Women's Health. He is wonderful...very good at making sure that my husband and I are comfortable. They are located at a few different locations and deliver at St. Ann's.
I also go to PWH and I see Dr. Ruedrich - I haven't met Jenkins, but I've been told any of them may see me if the other is unavailable. I hear many nurses request this office, so that must be a good sign!
Hi,
I just read your post and too had the same issue with a OBGYN in Marysville. At 5 weeks I was at work and started bleeding. Fearing the worst went to the Dublin Methodist Hopital. They were amazing. They had Dr. Krantz come see me who has an office in that hospital. He came in the room and said..don't stress..blood doesn't always mean miscarriage. And sure enough it didn't. I was sent home that day and told to call my OBGYN. When I did they said..well if you are going to lose the baby you are going to lose it, just go take a nap. The next day I was spotting and called them again and they told me I was lucky I was only 5 weeks and didn't have an attachment to the baby yet if I lost it. That was the last straw. I looked up Dr. Krantz number and have been going to him ever since. If I call with a question I never get voicemail and the dr has even called me once. My last visit he said told me...you couldn't have a better ultrasound than this one. I HIGHLY reccomend Dr. Krantz located in the Dublin Methodist hospital. I am so glad to have found him.
Good luck with your pregnancy. Prayers are coming your way!
