  • Soy Ice Cream- it is actually good. So Delicious makes it.

  • Coconut ice cream is decent, and any sorbet should be dairy/soy free.

  • if nuts are ok - almond ice cream is good, too!

  •  There are some grocery stores that carry coconut ice cream, including Trader Joe's, Giant, and Whole Foods.

Some pastries are actually safe, you have to read each label though. Apple turnovers at one store are safe, while at another aren't.

I know you said you'd like to just be able to pick up something, but this blog https://www.foodallergymama.com/ has some good stuff that are fairly easy to make. Heads up though, her son is safe with soy, so you may need to improvise with a few ingredients.

I also make cupcakes and freeze them so if i want to give him so desert -i just unfreeze one.

So delicious coconut ice cream is soooo yummy!!! and you can buy an allergy free ice cream cone (i have the brand in my blog under pantry -or something like that) and you can even buy allergy friendly sprinkles and it's so sweet watching your child lick an ice cream cone like you did when you were a child.

  • Tofutti's Little Cuties are a favorite "ice cream" sandwich. Oreos are freakishly dairy free (just the plain, white filling ones). My guys also love Phillyswirl frozen treats. There are Popsicle and cup varieties and the flavors are delicious!

  • Rice Dream was my go-to.  And you can use Hershey's chocolate syrup.  That is soy and dairy free.

Enjoy Life has a few cookies to choose from.  I lived on those when I breastfed!

  • So Delicious Coconut Sorbet... I LOVE IT! They also have a chocolate sorbet. If you eat the two together, it's like your eating an Almond Joy. Big Smile

  • Angel food cake and carrot cake are (generally/always?) dairy and soy free.  Some dark chocolates. If you can tolerate soy lethicin (most can, also soy oil) that really opens up the food options. Oreos are vegan, but they contain soy lethicin.
