    I'm a special snowflake, it took us 2 days to consummate the marriage.  

    First night was an all night party at the hotel with our friends and then off for the honeymoon the next day.  DH was totally hungover and by the time we reached the gate to board our plane he realized his wallet was a state away in the jacket pocket of his tux.  SO, he had to go back (by cab) and retrieve it which caused us to miss our plane to Hawaii and get there many hours late.  We were too exhausted by then to even think of it.  I look back on this and laugh every time though.

    I had an afternoon wedding - meaning that the ceremony was at 11:30.... Didn't really think about it too much before hand, but that meant hair/make up started at 5am.

    Needless to say by 11pm that night, we were pooped.  No nada for us!

    Me: PCOs DH: Perfect!
    4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!

    Combination of #1 & #4  :)  I know I remember it being awesome but don't really remember a lot of details...then again, that was 5 years ago...
    Childhood cancer (DH) + chemo + radiation = 0 sperm.
    LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
    LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).
    Life is beautiful!

    Seriously?  I'm glad you can laugh about it but I'm guess that wait and cab ride weren't all that fun at the time.  Good way to test the strength of the marriage!

    I stayed at the airport and rebooked our flights, with all our baggage and a dying cell phone.  It was seriously a comedy of errors, I was in tears at the time and the poor guy felt just awful!

    This! We had a huge party at the hotel after our wedding and I think I passed out in my hotel room..And we did it the next day when we arrived at our honeymoon in Bermuda..

    Ah, yes.  This was us, too :)  Reception ended at midnight and we had to be at the airport at 4:30 the next morning!

    So happy to hear about others who were drunk little monkeys at/ after their weddings ;)  Our friends and family make us feel like we were the only ones to ever have done this!

    it's funny, everyone talks about being exhausted, but for me all of the activity just left me overstimulated and wired, so there was no problem staying awake for sex! i answered #1. but i think what i remember more than the sex, though, when i think of our wedding night, is how we stayed up after that eating leftover cake and opening all of the cards with money in them. fun times. =)

    This.  My husband got pretty drunk and started being a jerk (nice, huh?)  on our wedding night.  The next day we flew to Vegas for our honeymoon... I think after he apologized a ton that day, we did it that night :)
