[Poll]
Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
Re: Clicky poll for already 2u2 Moms re: car seats
I voted #2 behind driver, #1 behind passenger.
It's solely because I'm lazy. I have to carry #2 in the infant seat, and it's a shorter walk to the driver's side. There's no science to my method. lol.
#1 is behind the driver
#2 is behind the passenger
I'm sure I had a good reason for it when he was a newborn, but that's escaping me right now.
i answered #2 because that's the situation right now... we have a van with 2 captain chairs so in the begining ds was rf behind the driver and dd was behind the passenger (in her infant seat.) we didn't want to switch ds when dd came because he already had a lot of changes and it was one thing we didn't absolutely need to change. when ds turned 2 we ff him, so dd took over his rf seat behind the driver and ds got a new harness/booster behind the passenger seat.
complicated enough?

Special snowflake - #1 in middle. #2 behind passenger.
(#3 behind driver. You said to answer for first two only but this is why #1 in middle!)
I meant answer regarding how you had your seats positioned when you only had 2 kids.

toddler in passenger because i don't have to turn around as far to see him and i can reach back to hand him things easier than if he was behind driver. also its the first door you get to when you leave me house... this way he doesn't escape my reach often and go running!
baby behind driver because i can look at him through mirror and because its nice to have him on my side as I usually put toddler in first and have car seat at my feet so toddler doesn't run away
#1 behind the passenger, #2 behind driver.
We have on street parking, and a toddler who likes to run! This way, we walk out of the house to the car, Cole gets strapped in first, doesn't ever enter the street (since he's not at the age to realize it can be okay sometimes, we don't want him to walk on it at ALL), and while I strap him in, the baby carrier is on the sidewalk too.
#1 is in the center
#2 is behind the driver
I have a Honda Pilot and we use the seat behind the passenger to access the 3rd row seats, so our car seats are configured so we can do this. Both kids are RF and the seats are narrow enough to be next to each other and are installed with their own LATCH anchors (the Pilot has 4 LATCH locations).
#1 behind driver, #2 behind passenger.
With #2 RF'ing, there wouldn't be room for H to drive if #2 was behind the driver's seat because the seat would have to be so far up. We have a small car.
