I had a beta yesterday and it came back positive (43) at 12dpo. My progesterone was only 9.2. I'm nervous because everything I read says that below 10 is a higher risk for miscarriage. Is it 9.2 because I was only 12dpo? Anyone have low p4 levels and still have a successful pregnancy? I'm so nervous! I have another beta tomorrow AM but I'm just a mess right now! Dr. Google is not my friend.
Re: posting under a/e. Nervous about p4 levels: Update
Hugs...and congrats because today you are PG.I would say for now to just try not to worry (easier said than done) because its a bit early. I think tomorrow's results will be a better indication - in terms of your P4 and your betas doubling time.
Fingers, toes, and everything crossed.

Sorry for the post and run. Thanks for all the sticky dust! And Celyn, I'm glad to hear they are within normal range! I've only read that under 10 was no good.
I think I'll feel even better after my beta tomorrow. They put a STAT order on it so I'll go in in the AM and get the results back in the afternoon instead of the next day. Thank goodness...I don't think I could handle the wait!
I don't have any advice but sending you lots of sticky dust!
Thanks all! I had my second beta just a little bit ago so I should know more in a few hours.
Katie- Good to know that the levels can fluctuate so much. I didn't know that.
I really appreciate all the sticky dust! Here's hoping to a doubling beta! They said they would like to see it over 100.
DD2: February 2014
wahoo! Beta doubled!
My first beta was drawn at 1pm at 12dpo and was 43. Today's beta (14dpo) was drawn at 9:15am and was 113!
They are having me go in for another beta draw on Saturday and I'll get those results on Monday and then we'll schedule our first ultrasound!
Thanks for all the sticky and doubling dust!
I think I know who you are! Yay!!!! Congratulations!!!
My first beta at 15 dpo was in the low 100s so you're looking good - and just an FYI beta #2 at 17dpo did not double in 48 hours I had a 60+ish doubling time and all has been good. Doubling time is usually 48-72 hours.
You're 14dpo numbers look really really great!!! I think it was just a couple of days too early. Looking good!!!
Thanks M! I'm feeling much better now but still a little nervous!
Great news and I have 2 quiet guesses
br
thanks everyone! and yea, no guesses! I would put money on it that you don't know who it is.
After I tell my family, I'll post here.
Yay! Congrats on the great numbers! looking forward to finding out who you are
That is great news!!! Still sending sticky baby dust your way.
