No more pedicures for me :(

I gave myself a pedicure & I think it will have to be my last. It was so ridiculously awkward & uncomfortable.

I may have to splurge & go to a nail salon in a few weeks...

    I attempted and mostly succeeded at painting mine last week. I have to say it was a major challenge! Hopefully I can do it just one last time! But the salon is also a great idea!

    Same here.  I told DH that no matter what next month I was going to go and get a mani/pedi.

    I go to get pedis just for the hour in the massaging chairs. I even agree to pay extra to get some stupid exfoliation crap put on my legs that I'm pretty sure does nothing...just because it "buys" me 15 extra minutes in the chair.

    The part where they make my toes look cute is nice too...but not usually the sole purpose of my visit.

    your doing great then. I havn't been able to comfortably reach my own toes for some time now

    Well, kudos to you!  I gave up before trying and have been going to the salon every month or so...so you are certainly deserving at this point for your hard work!

    Yeah, I learned the hard way that DIY pedicures were a no go for me around 26 or so weeks. It was way too uncomfortable. Thankfully, my sister has been a sport and painting my nails in between my salon visits. She's such a trooper!

    I've still been doing my own, but it takes forever. I feel like I can't breathe when I bend over to reach them, so I have to take breathing brakes in between toes. I'm thinking I need to go to a professional soon. They always make it last so much longer anyways.

    I haven't done my own in weeks - I consider salon pedicures to be a necessary pregnancy expense!

    If you wanna be saver savvy try a cosmetology school. Im not sure where you like but at the school I go to a pedi. is 15 and a mani. is 5 :)

    I said the same thing last time I painted my toenails, too! Like PP mentioned, I'm going to check out a beauty academy and save some $$ for my pre-baby pedi.
