Can you recommend your convertible carseat?

We are looking to buy a convertible carseat for our LO.  He is 6 1/2 months and about 20 lbs.  He is just getting so heavy to carry in the chicco.  The 2 I am looking at are the Evenflo Momentum65 and the Evenflo Symphony65.  Has anyone owned either one of these or can you recommend your convertible seat?  Thanks!

We have the Evenflo Symphony, and other than an occasional twisting of the straps, we have no complaints.  I would recommend it given the versatility of the seat!  Also, it cleans up really well in the washer.

  • We have the Britax Roundabout and love it.
  • We have the Britax Marathon and love it. We travel frequently and it's very easy to install.

Check out www.albeebaby.com They have great deals on car seats!

  • We have the True Fit Premier and I love it. I was able to shop around for it online then had diapers.com do a price match on it since i liked their return policy and I paid $180 for it. It installs super easy. Has a high harness height which is great for my tall LO and lots of leg room for extended rear facing. We are definitly fans of this seat.

  • I thought I ordered the symphony and ended up purchasing the momentum last night.  I am really happy with it!  The reviews were excellent and for the price vs. the Britax I couldn't justify it.  We have it rear facing in our car right now cause C just turned 1.  It's really comfy (she sleeps in it just fine) and the straps are so easy to adjust.  Seriously!  When it is "released" you just tug them into position and that's it.

We had the graco snugride and I like this just as much.  Adjusting the straps doesn't require unthreading anything, so as she grows I don't have to take the entire seat out and fight with it.

    Good luck!

  • We have an Evenflo triumph and a britax roundabout. DD and I both prefer the triumph. The triumph is easier to use and it seems more comfortable to her. The roundabout is complicated and she really seems to dislike sitting in it. The only reason we got the roundabout was because it was a bit smaller than the triumph and it was easier for me with my car, which is setup a little differently than most.

  • We ended up loving the Costo Scenera...it's so cheap too.  I heard good reviews on it so I bought one as an extra for DHs car.  We ended up liking it so much that I sold my Graco MyRide65 and now both of my kids use the Scenera in both of our vehicles (I have 4 of them!!!).  They are simple and both kids are comfy.  We just did a 12 hour trip and they both did fine.
