I had a prenatal appointment yesterday at 21w4d. The doc couldn't find the HB on the doppler so she did a quick U/S. It was measuring 144 and we're having a boy. However throughout the 1st timester and early 2nd trimester the HB was always over 150.
It's a fact that the HB starts out very high and lowers the farther along you are. It plays no factor in the sex of your baby.

It's a BOY!
I've always been low (150 or less), which kinda concerned me in the beginning until I talked to my mom, all 3 of her pregnancies were always 150 or lower (2 girls, 1 boy). It's been the same for me so far.
