LO's are sleeping through the night, which is fantastic but that means they're up more during the day. They really aren't into toys yet so what can I do with them besides the play mat. I sing to them and dance with them...well, I dance, they look at me like I"m crazy one of them kind of likes the bumbo while the other one still can't hold his head up enough to enjoy it. What's your day like?

Re: What's your 4 month schedule?
Eat, play, sleep, rinse and repeat.
We do tummy time, play mat time, bumbo set time, stare at the ceiling fan time, or walks in the stroller. I put a blanket in the shade outside so I can watch dd while she plays outside, dd makes him have tea parties, he watches dd sing and play, I read books (to both kids at the same time), we run errands, today he had a play date with a 6 month old.
They aren't super interactive yet so it sounds like you're covering it all with your routine!

Like laura&dan, I have an older child too so that makes things a little different but DD is usually just with us watching what we're doing or we sit and talk to her or I'm holding her while trying to do other things like make lunch or clean up finger paints of whatever. We're out running errands a lot too.
Your babies are still so young and dont need to be constantly entertained. They need to learn how to entertain themselves for a little while (DD loves sucking on her feet right now and this could keep her busy for a while!) and you need to be able to get stuff done too.
I promise that some down-time is not going to be detrimental and will actually help. DS can now play on his own which is a huge help when I'm nursing or changing DD or doing something else that prevents me from playing with him for a little while.
