WTF, sweet potatoes?

: Last night DS had sweet potatoes, his second time. It was also his second time waking up every 2 hours through the night since- well, a while. Every time he woke he ate (7-8 oz!!); but that's not normal for him anymore. He hasn't had any other symptoms of being allergic to them, but- damn, y'know? I'm half inclined to give him sweet potatoes again tonight, but then... I want some sleep. So, if you've given your LO something that makes them wake up more through the night, would you hold off for a bit and try again or just keep giving it to them? Ugh... soooo tiiiired. :( I'm beginning to hate sweet potatoes.

Re: WTF, sweet potatoes?

  • It's probably a coincidence: maybe a growth spurt.

  • He's done this both times he's had the sweet potatoes, though. And only with them. Every other veggie/fruit I've given him has been just fine. : I'm stumped.

  • It is possible that they just might upset his tummy. Just like certain foods do for us. I would give it one more try in a few days and if you get the same result it wont hurt putting those on the back burner for awhile.

  • Green beans do this to ladybug, so we have put them on the back burner for now.

Spread out, because the 1st time I thought it was possible that it had something to do with his thrush. This time he's got nothing else going on except teething.
