We're getting a keg for our party, but want it to be light. My H can't make a decision to save his life. Any ideas on some good beers?!
Also, we decided on pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, potato salad, pea salad, pasta salad, cookies and we'll also have cake for the birthday boy! We'll do some fruits (melons) and veggies too!
Our other drinks are Sangria, Mojitos, Pink Lemonade and Water
THANK YOU!

Keep it local!
You have a PM
How much you want to spend plays a huge role. I'm not a fan of big corporation beers, such as Bud, Coors etc, but there are obviously millions of people that think it tastes good. That would be cheapest probably and easiest to get, but not the tastiest. I can't remember where you live. You could see if ther eis a microbrewery near you that would have kegs. RedHook has kegs if you're near woodinville. Pyramid (downtown area), or Issaquah brewhouse are options too.
This! There is also a small brewery in Lynnwood that DH and I LOVE. We had a keg from them at our wedding. Ellersick Brewing Company. They are small and family owned.

I agree with keeping local. BUT From experience Manny's is not a light beer. It's a heavier unfiltered beer (it's my husbands FAVORITE beer ever). I hate it personally. The Rogers is more of a light and that's a pilsner I believe.
I also like Pyramid. When we did light beer we always just did Bud or Coors light, in the keg (or if someone is feeling REALLY cheap busch light).
PM back!
