Success after IF

How many times a day does you lo fall/ bump head?

It seems like every time we take our eyes off her for a sec she bonks her head...today i was putting outlet covers in our new apt and left her near a covered outlet for a sec to get more covers - i didnt even grab them before we heard a thud and a cry and found her laying on the floor - the apt was empty so she either bonked against the wall or carpeted floor - should i worry? Ugh... This mobility thing is hard

  • All the time.  Just wait 'til she starts running.  Fast.

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

  • At that age, all the time.  One of my biggest mommy guilt memories is trying to take a picture of her looking up at me while she was sitting, as I snapped the picture she started to all and I actually have a picture of her hand and half of her head as she hit the floor...now it's funny but at the time I thought my need for a good photo had resulted in her having brain damage.  Now it's sort of funny that I thought a slow motion fall when sitting could do damage.

this...he currently has a lovely bruise on his cheek from falling over and hitting his face on the fireplace mantle columns in his room.
  • A lot - 1/2 of which are self inflicted, the other 1/2 brother inflicted.

I average 1 incident report per week with Harry.  Alexander is a tad more careful....

  • At her age?  ALL.THE.TIME.

Babies have super hard heads for a reason...no worries unless she lost consciouness.

  • Multiple times a day.  DS is super sensitive and cries at the drop of a hat.  But I am always amazed at how many times DD hits her head (on the wall, end table, crib rail, etc) and never makes a peep.  She is a tough cookie, but I still worry.

  • oh, all the time... LOL.  I only pick him up if he cries -- otherwise he just shakes it off and keeps going.  If it was a bad bump on the head I would be sure to keep him awake for a least a few hours (2-4).  Hard to do at night, though.
