I am getting my elective u/s tomorrow and this is like Christmas Eve...I'm on pins and needles waiting for this appt!! My sis was just here and did the ring-on-a-string test on me (which she swears by and hasn't heard of it being wrong!) I know it's just an OWT, but did any of you do it, and did it match the gender on the u/s??

We did a needle on a thread, which said girl, but my ultrasound definitely showed boy!

Estwd2:
The ring on a string seemed to conclude that we were having a hermaphrodite, so no it didn't match the u/s.

this made me LOL! I guess time (and hopefully the u/s) will tell!

Ring on a string, chinese gender chart, and heart rate OWTS were all right for me. Not that I put much stock in them to begin with.

I didn't do that test, but I did have a VERY strong intuition that it was a girl, and the Bump gender chart said it was a girl, but it turned out to be a boy!

Chi see gender chart was correct, ring test said boy, then girl. Hear rate was high (170 at 9w) which should mean girl, but we are having a boy. HR now is 140-145 though.

We didn't do that one, but the Chinese Gender Chart said we were having a girl. My horrible 1st tri acne did as well. I didn't have much m/s which I've heard means boy. And I had dreams about having one of each. So I was all over the place! : )

Ring on a string was correct for my promise ring, wrong for my wedding bad and engagement ring. Chinese gender chart was wrong. Acne the whole time (meaning girl) was correct.

Chinese gender chart predicts a boy. Needle test also predicts boy. I have my a/s in less than 3 weeks, and will find out for sure.

A girl I work with swears she has never been wrong with the ring test. It said I was having a boy. The bump chinese calendar said boy and I always had dreams of a boy and today I found out I am having a boy!

Ha Ha my sister did it twice the night before my u/s and both times it said boy. Well we had a girl. So it was not right.

i'm having a boy! a few owt were right.. i didn't have any morning sickness and i craved salty foods. i looked at multiple chinese gender predictors and a few said girl, but most said boy. i didn't do the ring test..
