I swear if someone studies my child's legs they will call CPS on me. He falls a lot and with shorts on, he gets lots of cuts and bruises. I swear he has 10 bruises on just one leg. They don't bother him but look horrible. I will be glad when he gets out of the falling down while running stage.
Re: I think we are in the CPS phase.
LOL!
I was so relieved at DDs 2 year appointment when I mentioned DDs beat up legs, and she said if she doesn't see bruises, scrapes, scratches and a hint of a tan line, she worries, because that means the child isn't living life with gusto.
Garrison has been covered in bruises and bandaids for a couple of months now.
Then, one night when she wasn't actually too "beaten up", she insisted on sitting on the potty for an hour before bed and putting every single hello kitty in the box on her body, she was quite a scene showing up at grandma's the next morning.
Oh no, LOL!
Somehow Kira developed a bit of a black eye on Sunday -- we noticed it as we were leaving the GTG! I have *NO* idea how that happened -- she didn't go bar hopping.
Her legs are continually scratched and mosquito bitten though, so I know what you mean!

My DS is the same way. And the pedi actually made a comment today on how bruised his legs are, but wasn't worried about neglect or anything.
Aaron has always been really clumsy and really doesn't pay attention to wear he's walking.

Sorry to break it to you but as soon as they're out of the falling down running stage they're into the scraping the leg jumping off a retaining wall or hanging from the swing set.
At 3 and almost 5 mine both look like their legs have been thru the ringer.
And Jace has a big goose egg on his head.
I don't even bother with neosporin and band aids any more.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
And it's NOT just boys either!!!
