What did you need/buy for baby #2?

I feel like I'm so unprepared this time around, but in reality I think it's just because I already have pretty much everything we need.

We're having another girl, but she's due in a different season, so obviously I'll need some clothes.

Other than that we've bought:

Sound Machine (Mads still uses her so we got a new one)

Furniture for the nursery

Double Stroller - Sit and Stand

Newborn Diapers

We're going to use the crib, carseats, pnp, bouncer, swing, moby, etc from Madison.

What the heck am I forgetting?

    For baby #2, I bought clothes (different gender), some diapers, double stroller and blankets/bedding (boy).  Other than that, not really anything.  Maybe replaced things that were worn out, bottles/pacifiers etc.

    We had a different gender baby, so I got some clothes, nursery decor, etc.  We had gotten rid of a few things I didn't like (DD's swing, bouncy seat) so I replaced those.  I didn't buy a single thing new, rather got everything second hand from my mom's club. We restocked the nursery with mylicon, aquaphor, diaper rash cream, etc.

    RevJG has a good list of all that baby type stuff, I'd probably add infant pain relievers (total pain to try to calculate childrens conversion in the middle of the night but it can be done), bottles, pacis (maybe a paci keeper type thing to clip it on the stroller or carseat), breast pads, nipple cream ect if you're breastfeeding, extra tubing set if you're pumping.  A couple lovey type items if you want her to take to something.

    Also on cloths, I know this is not always the case but my first was a Nov baby and the 2nd a very end of Feb baby.  Well they are totally different physical builds so eventhough they were different seasons I don't think I've *had* to buy any cloths for #2 at all.

    I didn't buy much as we WAY overbought for Ty. We had everything and the boys were born in the same season. I did buy some new blankets, new crib sheet, a double Bob, and a new carseat for Ty.

    You might want to start collecting little toys/books/special things for M to play with while you nurse/tend to baby and keep them in a basket. When you need to nurse, break out the basket.

    I think you've got it covered. 

    For Addi, I just really bought, diapers, new meds (gas drops, tylenol etc) and the double stroller.  we used the stuff from Natalie for all the rest.

    It sounds like you have alot covered. You might be surprised about the cloths. D was a nov baby while L a feb baby. He quickly grew into the size Logan was in the summer. It ended up working out, layering. I did buy more sleep n plays, footie jammies etc

    Thanks everyone :)  I've put together a shopping list.

    And April - Thanks for the tip about stuff for Mads.  I hadn't thought of it :)
