I am SO TORN lately.
I never thought I would NOT find out (I AM A PLANNER). BUT I have a niece & nephew who were both born in December/January so we'd be set with clothes either way.. (which is the only reason why I would need to know the gender)
What's your plan and WHY?

Well when we thought we were having one baby we wanted to be surprised bc we have friends who went team green and they said it was the best experience when she came out and the drs and nurses exclaimed "it's a girl!!!!". But now we want to find out simply bc we are having twins and we feel we need to prepare. lol

With my DS we were team green and after a long labor it was a beautiful feeling to hear my husband yell 'it's a boy'. With our DD, we had the ultrasound tech write the sex on a piece of paper and seal it in an envelope. When we got home, we opened the envelope and video taped it. I was laid off unexpectedly the week that we had the u/s so it was such a good surprise to find out I was having a girl.
This time around I want to be team green again. We are 90% sure that this is it for us, so I want to enjoy every minute of it and the NOT knowing was so much fun with DS that I want to feel that again. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED knowing that DD was a girl, but I want that surprise feeling during labor again. But who knows, we might change our minds during the u/s
I always thought I wouldn't want to know, but now that I'm in the planning stage, I realize how hard it is to find good neutral anything. I want to know now, I've gotten myself worked up lol
We are planning on finding out because I want to plan and decorate the nursery appropriately
Although the idea of waiting is really really special too...I wish I was patient enough!

We found out last time because I figured everything was a surprise with #1, I wanted to be prepared. My sister was moving and getting rid of her baby clothes/gear from my 2 nephews around the time of my big U/S, so it made sense to find out and luckily since we had a boy we inherited a TON of hand me downs.
This time, we're fully stocked for a boy (DS was November, so not too far off) and our big stuff is all neutral anyway. I know I want to be surprised at least once in my life and if this is a boy, I know it would be really hard to not find out next time. (We are planning on having 3).
We're going to TRY and stay team green. I figure I can go out near the end and buy some newborn necessities for a girl, and I can always return them then if we don't need them.
^^^ Exactly how we feel about it. We're team green and super excited about it. I just think having that moment in the hospital where the doc proclaims "It's a boy!" or "It's a girl!" will be really exciting.
We were team green with the first and I'm still not sure how I managed. It was so worth it when my husband got to say "it's a girl!!" Now that I know I can wait and as much as I want to know what this little one is, we are going team green again.
I want to be team green so badly but my husband is exactly the opposite! He hates surprises and is horrible at keeping secrets so its not like he would be able to find out and keep it from me. I thought it might be fun to have a surprise second time around but it will never work
My husband and I are way too impatient to wait until delivery to find out. We found out with our two daughters and we'll be finiding out this time as well. If it's another girl, I'll have to contact my friend to have her pass back the baby girl clothes. If it's a boy, we have a lot of shopping to do.
And, as terrible as this may sound, if it's a girl I would like some time to adjust to the idea of having another girl. Of course, as I've said previously, I will love my baby regardless of the gender, but I think time would definitely help me get over the disappoinment of not having a son. That and it would give me time to find my daughters a salon to go. I cannot do three heads of hair. I will go crazy! lol!

I'm definitely going to find out...I wish I could know NOW!!! lol. I can't even imagine not knowing, but I'm a planner too.
I looked at some of the gender neutral bedding sets, just to see if I thought it was possible for me to go Team Green, but nothing clicked. I think I'm probably going to wanna go all out with either boy or girl stuff lol

This!!! We did not find out with DD and DH really wants to with this one. I'm fine with it too if it's really what he wants. It would be nice to know if I need to pull the old clothes out and wash or start buying new ones.
