bummed about weight gain

I was scolded at my dr.appt today because I've gained too much weight this month- 7lbs. I've gained a total of 13 lbs so far, but I'm only 5'1 so I suppose they want me to slow down. Ugh-made my day.

Yeah, I've gained more than I should have in the first half of the pregnancy and the doctor hasn't said anything.

I know, right? I didn't think it was a big deal, but she wants me to cut out all refined carbs. She told me I should only be gaining 1/2-1lb per week, so I guess I'm over by a few lbs. There's no way I can completely cut that stuff out though. I need my starches!

That's crazy! I asked my Dr is I was doing ok on weight (I eat everything) and she said... sure, you'd be surprised at how what you can gain, don't worry about it, your healthy.
