Happy Thoughts for DH, please

Sooo, At the beginning of May yall sent good thoughts to DH for making it through his 10-day training with the back issues he was facing stemming from an injury in January. Fortunately it went well and his guys really took care of him and kept him away from anything really strenuous. FFs are awesome. So is nestie dust.

Unfortunately his back has gotten worse since then. He's been on sick leave since he returned from the trip. Until last week he was going to the Dr 3x/ week for treatment in addition to PT and other therapies. This has been going on for about 4 months. His pain has progressively gotten worse to the point where it's been severe 24/7 for quite awhile.

Long story short, he's having a discectomy/ lamenotomy in the morning. It's definitely not the worst form of back surgery, but it's still full anesthesia and removal of the herniated portion of the disc, followed by an overnight stay at the luxurious surgery center. [/sarcasm]

We're both a bit nervous about the surgery, so any positive thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Good thoughts and prayers for your DH this morning. Back issues suck - I've got them too, and one of my co-workers just went through the same surgery your DH is having. He feels fantastic, and it's been not quite a month since his surgery.
