how to find info on daycares

in Success after IF

I may be going back to work this fall :(  How do I go about finding out reviews, ratings etc. of daycare centers?  I'll be looking at the bigger centers for the time being (the franchises).  

I know some of this depends on location but have you had success with Angies List or something of the like?

    I don't know of any sites but I see you live in Michigan. I work for The Learning Experience and know we have some schools out there. I can't speak for the center themselves, but the company is well managed, schools are clean, policies are effective and the curriculum is great. Let me know if you have any questions.

    I don't think there are any out here, except for the Chicago area. It's mostly Learning Care Group, which is who I worked for. :)

    If you are looking at national chains, then I can tell you that I've had my boys at Bright Horizons and the Learning Experience.  We've loved both.

    I really like the experience and the accountability of a large center.  I wouldn't do it any other way!  It's perfect for an anal retentive type A like me!

    Me: PCOs DH: Perfect!
    4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!

    Why? Are you not having an awesome time where you currently live? ;) It's a nice place to visit on a weekend but I'd go crazy living there!

    Too bad you aren't moving to Cincinnati, I know a wonderful nanny down that way.
