nbr: what's wrong with my freezer?

We keep our stand up freezer in our garage....  not sure if that's the problem.  Every now and then there's a small bit of water underneath it.

Anyway, ice cream isn't staying completely frozen in this freezer.  It's on the coldest setting.  It's kind of like it's colder than a fridge but not as frozen as normal.  This concerns me.  We've had this freezer since March 2007, so it's not like it's brand new.  It's always been in the garage. 

Thoughts on what might be wrong and how to fix it?

    Since it is not 90 degrees outside, I think ambient temperature is not the culprit.  I would probably call a pro to do repairs very soon, before the coil goes out completely.  Nothing stinks more than losing everything in a freezer.

    Definitely call.  We have tons of freezers at work that I have to maintain, water leaking is never a good sign.

    Thanks...  question is how much do you think a repair would be?  We only spent ~$200 on it, so I have to wonder if it's even worth repairing.

    Try cleaning out the vent or checking the drain plug.
