Thinking of buying a Power wheel car for DS

I am seriously thinking of going out to buy a power wheel car for DS. He will be 2 and a half next month and loves anything on wheels. He already has a tricycle and other riding toys. When he seems them in the stores he goes nuts. I am just wondering if anyone recommends one over another. Also does anyone know if they can go on grass. We currently live in a condo and don't have much sidewalk for him to drive it on.

    We have a John Deere tractor one for DS. He can't steer it very well yet, but we can turn the wheels all the way one way and get just goes in a big circle. He LOVES it! The one we bought him has a trailer thing on it and it is good for ages 2-7 so it will be good for awhile.

    We have a tractor, he only drives it on grass since we live on a rural acreage and there is grass or gravel only, and my DH did need to add traction to the back tires or it pretty much went no where. He used duct tape, not pretty but it did the job and he rides it constantly.

    DD has a FP Dora Power Wheel and she loves it.  She rides it easily on grass or concrete.  Fortunately, we didn't have to buy it--our neighbor just gave it to  us, since their daughter had outgrown it.  You might want to check Craig's List to see if you can find one used. The only thing we had to do was buy a new battery for it.

    DS has one and rides it a lot.  It goes pretty good on the grass.  He has the FP power wheels that has the button on the handlebar.  It doesn't go in reverse, which is fine.  I think we will look for a two-seater once our 9 month old is a little older, although at 25lbs. he already looks pretty comfy on the one we have!
