If you're still breastfeeding...

Do you feel sick to your stomach when you nurse? I started feeling sick/faintish last week and it only really happens when I nurse. Has ANYONE felt this before? Its so wierd!

  • I am still nursing and I don't feel that, but I do feel small contractions/cramping sometimes.

  • I'm not still nursing, nor did I expereince that when I was, but I do recall that a lot of mommas would talk about feeling nauseated when nursing- especially in the beginning and especially when pumping. I think it's a hormone thing, so it makes sense you might have trouble with this during pregnancy. HTH!

    Yep!!!  I just stopped nursing this week (I'm still sad about it) but I would always feel lightheaded, hot and I felt like throwing up everytime I would nurse.  You're not alone.

    I hear it's common, but I don't have it.  I do however, have nipple sensitivity that comes and goes.  When they're sensitive it's like my entire boob is a giant bruise and it KILLS when he's nursing!
