Update on Evie

This may be duplicative for those who are friends on FaceBook, but I am too excited not to share...

1.  After 12 weeks of treatment with her "helmet" Evie's cranial growth has been phenominal.  She is now considered well within the range of normal and no longer has plagiocephaly  (aka flat head syndrome)  or Bracyephaly  (head shape that is too broad at the brow line).  Since she is still growing we decided to continue treatment with night time use only for another 4 week.  She'll graduate from treatment on July 1st.

2. Yesterday we had an appoinment with Evie's Early Intervention physical therapist and she was really pleased with Evie's progress.  She recommended that we put in a request for our exit evaluation.  Since it requires coordinating  schedules for several care providers that probably won't occur until Mid-July.  Assuming the evaluation goes well, Evie will be released.

So if all goes well in within the next month Evie will go from having 6 doctors and specialist she sees regularly to only 3!
