Hi Ladies,
I would like to (cautiously) join you. I just turned 37 last week and DH is 37 and we've been trying for over a year. I just got my first beta result and it's 76 at 12dpiui. I'm so excited to finally be pregnant. I am super nervous about beta's 2 & 3 but am hopeful that with a strong number like 76 that this is it for us. The pregnancy we had last year started at 25, went up to 37 and then I m/c. Since then nothing had happened. This was our last treatment with the RE for financial/emotional reasons. I had really given up hope that we would have a child together. But now it looks like we are!!!
I have a 16 year old daughter, but my ob/gyn told me that since it's been so long since I was pregnant that this will be like a first time pregnancy, not a second. I don't really remember much of that pregnancy so I'm a little nervous as well. Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you (I have to admit, I've been lurking for a while) and sharing this amazing journey with you.
