Disney world tickets

We will be going to the Magic Kingdom next Monday just for the day. Is it worth it to buy tickets in advance? Where do you pick them up? Will I still have to wait in line to pick them up at will call?

If the park opens at 9, what time should we get there?

Monorail or ferry to enter the park?

Any tips about what we should do right when we get there?

    I like to get on the ferry at 8:30. There's a cute show at the park opening time that Maggie liked, all the characters come off the MK train and there's singing etc. Makes it fun. I suggest heading straight back to Dumbo and getting fast passes for Peter Pan along the way. Then you can knock out all of the bush Fantasyland rides up front. Don't skip PhilharMagic, it's really cute. Have fun!

    I don't think you can buy single day passes at a discounted rate, so we just bought them at the gate.  We took the ferry there and the monorail back.  We were driving in from Daytona so we didn't get there right at opening, but would have preferred to.  Have fun!!!
