My poor picky child refuses to eat anything after her tonsillectomy. The anesthsia made her sick and the pain meds are rough on her tummy so I can understand her not wanting to eat. She doesn't even want ice cream. I'm beginning to wonder if she's mine, who doesn't want ice cream?
Anyways I'm thinking of picking up mashed potatoes for her. She didn't want mine last night but maybe if I get some really yummy ones she'll eat some? Where do you like mashed potatoes from?
Re: Best mashed potatoes?
If you are talking like take out... I would get them from KFC. They are thinner and not thick and clumpy. More smooth which would probably be best for her to swallow.
Would she drink a milkshake? mmm... steak n' shake

i love those Idahoian (sp?) little packs you can buy at the grocery store. i think they're under a buck and all you do is add boiling water. they have lots of flavors too. they say 100% Idaho Potatoes, but who really knows.
Alexia frozen mashed potatoes. sprouts has em and sometimes HEB did too.
just nuke and stir.
