Is he a boy or a cat?

DS stubbed is toe and as usual after any injury I asked him if he wanted me to kiss it.  He said no he wanted me to lick it.  I declined.  So he decided to lick it himself.

Now he has been sitting around all morning sucking his toes like he's a cat giving himself a bath.  

I guess this is preferable to having a dog and him wanting to imitate the lifting of the leg?
