Land vacation recs

I remember there was a post a new months ago. Where is a good place to go with the little ones. We are looking for sometime in march or April 2012 so it has to be one of the islands. Thanks!

    Hi Di!  I hope your kiddos are well!

    We went to Sanibel Island in Florida a few years ago and it seemed very family friendly.  Kind of like the shore with cute shops and restaurants (but the beaches are much nicer!).  You can ride bikes around too.  We rented a car since not everything is within walking distance.  We stayed at the Sundial (I think).  It has little apartments with kitchens and a sitting area, plus a pool, restaurant, pool bar w/food, and the beach with chairs.
