Any suggestions on how the heck this might work? It's like every time she sees DD2 with hers she thinks she needs one also. They also have the same kind so they steal eachothers all the time as well. I really didn't want to go much past 2, I'm fine with night time and nap use for a little while but she still wants it all day........help!

Ditto this.
Luckily DD never took to a binky, but we planned on weaning both of them at the same time-when DS turned 2 and DD turned 1 if we had to.
I think it's much easier that way.
If you're really certain you want to get rid of it for #1, since they have the same type, I think you're going to have to ditch it for both. I don't see any other way to do it.
I don't know what I'll do when I get to this point with my #2 and #3, but they have different types, so maybe not such a big deal? Same with DD1 and 2, they had different types, and eventually DD1 lost all of hers so was done.

Thanks ladies....I was thinking the same that seems to be the only option...
Guess I will make it a goal for when DD2 turns 1 for them both, might be a few long nights
Any thoughts on cutting the tips? I believe we did that with the last two of DS's many years ago and it did work. Any methods that you have found that worked for you?
