If you receive a gift from a group of people, how do you typically handle the thank you note? ?Do you send a thank you to each individual in the group, or are there occasions where it's appropriate to send a group thank you note?
Here's the situation: DH and I are both attorneys. ?Both our firms sent flower arrangements when our daughter was born a couple weeks ago. ?I plan to send thank you notes addressed to the firm. ?My firm is over 90 attorneys, so I'm obviously not sending notes to each of them. ?And it's not as though each member of either firm chipped in for the flowers.
But today I received a gift from three attorneys at another firm, who I've worked with over the past year on this huge case. I should send a note to each one individually, right? ?
