Similac, Gerber and Enfamil are sure wanting me to buy their formula. I'm sure I got on a mailing list of theirs with all the baby stuff I fill out.
Anywho...so they send all these coupons that kind of look like checks for $15 towards purchase and some decent coupons. It says my name and good towards XXXX formula purchase by such and such date. They've also sent me like 4 cans of formula so far for free.
Personally, I'm hoping I have no problems BFing and will never need to use any of it, but I've got them stacked up in an envelope JUST IN CASE. But what I was wondering is if I don't use them...can I give the coupons away? They are pretty darn good coupons ($15 towards purchase cha-ching!!) But since they have my name on them...do stores check to make sure the name on the coupon is who is buying it? Or do they just not care?
Just wondering. I'm sure their are some couponers out there that know their policy on this stuff.
Re: "Checks" (really just coupons) for formula I have been getting in the mail.
Probably! I'm hoping I can send the formula coupons to someone that can use them...I don't want to throw them away if someone else can save some $$$ using them.
Of course they are carding people if they look younger than 85 for alcohol now...so I'm sure stores will be IDing for "formula coupon fraud"
I have been tossing them....oops.
I have been saving the free formula just in case though.

Yup. There is a women and children shelter nearby that I've picked out to get my sample cans if I decide BF is not for me.
I will take any and/or all of them
You can give them away. I got a lot of coupons from other women on here. People usually go on the 0-3 month boards and offer to mail them to women who need/want them.
Let me know if you are willing to mail them out and I will PM you my address. I don't know which formula I will be using yet (most likely Similac or Enfamil), but will happily take them!
You can give them away. They really are just coupons. I've never heard of anyone having a problem using someone else's.
Thanks for the input, ladies!
Watch for a post from me a few weeks after I deliver then...I will stockpile all the coupons and if I have no problems BFing and don't need them...I will definetly send them to other July mommas to use!
They are considered "checks" so that you can still combine them with coupons. For example I had 6 $5 checks. I bought 6 things of similac for $5.49 each. I had a $2 off coupon and a $5 off coupon plus 10% completion code and 10% employee discount. When all was said and done Target gave me about a $10 overage to use on the rest of my purchase.
