STBXH contacting DD even though it's against the Restraining Order.
Anyone deal with this? I'm so mad and frustrated. My STBXH has been in jail for months because of something he did to me. When I 1st went to court for a hearing I asked to have the RO extended for a year, it covers myself and DD. STBXH asked the judge to at least let him write to DD and the judge said "absolutely not". So yesterday my MIL said to my mom that ex was sending DD a card! I really think he just doesn't get it! He's got serious charges against him and he's been held without bail for months because they think he is a danger. Helloooooo!!!
I'm going to tell MIL that I don't want it, she can keep it or send it back. I am kind of curious though what the heck he wrote in there.

I think it would be in your best interests to let it come & then take it to the police. He's obviously violating the restraining order.

Yes, I have. Is he going to send it through the mail or through your MIL? If it's through the mail keep it and give it to your attorney or the prosecutor's office. It can be used against him when it comes time for hm to be released from prison and during any future custody/visitation hearings.
