Rec your pediatrician!

Hi Ladies!

The time has come for us to find a pediatrician and register at Prentice .... I believe our Dr. said we should do it by 28 weeks. 

Since I am a First Time Mom, and don't have many friends with children in the Chicago area, I am a bit overwhelmed.  DH and I wouldn't mind staying at Northwestern downtown, but we live in Bucktown so if you have a pediatrician you love in that area (or surrounding - lakeview, etc.) please recommend!

    I delivered at Prentice and you really don't have to choose a ped. until when you deliver.  We just picked a random one to register, and then they asked when we got to the hospital.  We have been seeing Dr. Dawn Li at Northwestern children's practice (680 lakeshore).  I know you wanted bucktown, but we've been really happy with the practice.  They also have walk-in hours on saturday and sunday which is really nice!

    We delivered at Prentice and really like our pedi group, Northwestern Memorial Pediatrics Group. Our primary is Dr. Allison Levine. They also have Saturday hours for sick.

    We are in West Bucktown and they are still pretty convenient since they are just south of North Ave & Halsted.

    I also delivered at Prentice.  We go to Town & Country and have been very happy. Their main office is basically at North & Clybourn. We love Dr. Wyman. All their docs go to NMH and Childrens.

    We go to Northwestern Children's Practice and really like Dr. Goldstein. But I've heard lots of good things about Town & Country, which might be a little closer for you!
