I find it very amusing
(and slightly annoying) when my husband reminds me certain things about parenting.
If you don't know, I am a SAHM and my husband is gone all.the.time. He works long hours, goes to grad school, and has a time-consuming hobby (golf). So I do the bulk of the parenting alone. Which is fine...not the point...
*We went to the mall yesterday, and when we left, he reminded me that if I'm on the escalator with Paige, I need to make sure I hold her hand at the bottom. She doesn't know how to step off.
Really?
*You know, Megan, when you are giving Paige her bath and you are home alone, you can't just leave her in there. You need to keep your eyes on her the entire time.
You don't say! I thought I could toss her in and go upstairs and do the elliptical. Darn.
*When you go to Target, you need to get the stroller out and bring all the kids in with you. It is way too hot to leave the boys in the car.
No way! I thought they would be fine in the 100 degree weather out in the car alone. Shucks.

My dh likes to tell me how Isabel eats her grilled cheese...."she like it when you cut it in strips"......really, last I checked as long as there was bread and cheese she does not care how you give it to her
