9 month feeding question/non-clicky poll

Today we had dd's 9 month well visit.  Right now dd eats between 4-6oz bottles every 3 hours.  It works out to 5 bottles a day.  I've seen so many babies moved to 3 bottles a day with more oz.  I guess like 8oz of formula 3x a day.  I asked at the pedi appt today and she said what we're doing now is fine.  She said if we tried to do 8oz bottles then she probably wouldn't take it because as is she doesn't finish her 6oz bottles all the time.  A little background, dd has reflux but it's gotten better over the last month.  She doesn't spit up as much but still wears a bib all day long. Also, she was 18 lbs at her appt today.

So, how much and how often does/did your 9 month old drink formula?

    At nine months he was drinking two 4oz bottles of breastmilk and nursing twice ( he also had reflux).

    my 8 1/2 month old usually has five feedings a day of about five ounces (some at the breast, some with pumped breastmilk). i never considered trying to drop down to fewer than five feedings . . . DS is naturally a grazer and i think he's happy with the current system.

    This is what my DD did as well... she had reflux and did better with smaller feedings more often.

    DD took 4 6ounce bottles a day...but didn't always finish them.

    Okay good.  I just wanted to make sure others were still feeding more often.  I literally know of no one irl that doesn't do the 8oz, 3x a day bottles...

    DS is a bit younger but on a good day he does between 24-30oz/day. His bottles can vary but usually it works out to about 5oz/bottle. He can still be all over the place and sometimes only takes 17 or 18oz/day. We've been doing 3 solid meals/day lately too.
