Color Me Mine

Anyone been?  I'm thinking about taking J to do a handprint on something, but I don't want to break the bank.  I've tried to look at their website and it just says each piece is a different price and then there's a studio fee.  Anyone know about how much to expect?  If it's not worth it, maybe we'll just DIY something from Michael's.

Re: Color Me Mine

  • I think it was around $25-$30 total. My Dd has made a turtle bank and a Winnie the Pooh bank. We have gone to both the Fremont store and the Pleasanton store.

  • most places have a sitting fee of under 10 dollars and then the price of your item. you can get tons of stuff for under 10 at most places :)

We went to a place today (in San Carlos) and I spent 18 bucks :)

  • We were just there today - had to pay for both kids to paint, think 7.50 each. Painted to airplane piggy banks and a coffee mug. Total cost was $65.

  • We've been a couple of times. DH took DS there to make me a frame when he was about a year old. And I took both of mine when DS was 28 months and DD was about 8 months to make DH a mug. I think it cost us about $25 each time (including studio fee).

The kiddos had fun. I was worried about breaking stuff too, but they were actually pretty good. We went to the one in Alameda and its never really busy during the weekday.

  • I did a salad plate and sitting fee for DD only and it came it about $25. I believe the sitting fee was $6. We went to the Fremont location.
