Let's talk about Father's Day

What are you doing? I had planned on using my stocked up gifts to grow points to get a collage or calendar or something but unfortunately my photographer has rescheduled our pictures 4 times...arg! Seriously the pictures were supposed to happen a month ago and we're finally doing them tomorrow (fingers crossed). So now I'm stuck trying to come up with something different by this weekend. I would prefer to do something inexpensive or handmade since I'm not longer working and I don't want DH to know what I bought. I'm an artist so being crafty isn't a problem. I was thinking about maybe doing a framed pencil drawing or watercolor of DD or a paperweight with her picture. Basically I want something special that will also be creative/unique.

Many of the moms on the SAHM board made D-A-D picture frames for fathers day. You use whatever material you want to make the letters in dad and you put pictures in the opening of each letter. If I was crafty at all I would consider this!

I got him a new wallet from me (and I'll put DD's picture in it of the two of them together). I also bought at Hallmark a stuffed teddy bear that you can record lullabies on to play back. He's MUCH better at singing than me.

I can't wait to see everyone's ideas. I got him an I heart Dad coffee mug from snapfish from the baby with their pic on it. But I don't know what I am going to get him. Seriously he just says he wants a bj, lol. Ah, life after baby. I am SO not interested! So I better think of a gift quick Stick out tongue
