You know, the one waddling her way through Walmart wearing lounge pants, flip flops, hair in a ponytail, with no makeup on? Yup, that was me.
DH and I cleaned out both vehicles today & the garage... We don't have a Shop Vac so we went to the carwash to vacuum them out. Then we had to make a quick stop at Walmart... Normally, I would refuse to go out in public without makeup on but I was just so tired, I didn't care one bit.
Oh, remember the Yoga pants debate a few months ago? I totally bought some new ones to wear after LO is here (for in the hospital, around the house, etc). They are the most comfortable thing EVER. Flame away!
Re: I've officially become THAT pg woman...
I cannot judge. I didn't have to work today and I seriously am still in my jammies. Yup...its 7:41pm eastern time.
Congrats on cleaning out the car BTW...I wanted to clean the bathrooms today.
Didn't happen.
It's okay.
I have a feeling you still looked better than 1/2 the people in Walamart at that time anyways.
I always wonder where people on the Bump go on errands anyways that a trip to Target/Walmart/Grocery store requires a full face of makeup and matching accessorized wardrobe. I consider clean, well fitting yoga pants and a clean, nice t perfectly appropriate for such an occasion.
Ditto except its 6:52 central time. Still in jammies and proud as I told DH when he walked in the door.

I also don't understand having to dress up for errands. Of course, I rarely wear makeup anyways, so I may just be abnormal.
LOVE that site!
Oh my goodness. In a way, I have been "that pregnant woman" for weeks! I don't waddle yet but I started wearing yoga pants awhile ago in an attempt to avoid maternity pants. And flip flops are my new best friend due to the ease of putting them on and the fact that my feet occasionally swell up!
Not too long ago I said something to my husband along the lines of "sorry I'm wearing this crappy outfit out of the house" before we went somewhere. And his response was "Why? You wear that all the time." Oops.
So, due to that reality check, I will try to wear a nicer outfit to go out of the house and know that I will see people I know, or really be interacting with people (like a doctor's appointment), but the minute I get home I'm back in pjs. I'm going to LIVE in my yoga pants after she's here. That, and sundresses. And I don't care what anyone thinks!!
What was the yoga pants debate?
I have always worn yoga pants out in public. In fact, I wear yoga pants 99% of the time, even before I was pregnant, even to work when I'm technically not allowed. They rock!
I have never cared about what people think about what I wear, how my hair is or anything. Being pregnant is an even better excuse to not get dressed. LOL
I'm not computer savvy enough to find a link... It was months ago, either on a FFFC or UO post I think. There was a huge debate over whether wearing yoga pants in public is acceptable or not. It became pretty heated!
Maybe I'll look back for fun :P
And yay you for buying yoga pants. They are my "dressy" pants...LOL
Our local Walmart is really trashy. I've noticed that when I change my shirt and put on nice sandals before going there, I feel overdressed. I look around and wonder what the heck I put forth all that effort for.
That being said, as long as your clothes are clean, cover your lady parts, and fit you well, you're fine. You don't have to wear makeup and "outfits" every time you leave the house. It's just unrealistic.
Yep me too. Saturday I wore a sports bra with a summer dress that had spaghetti straps. My DH actually commented that I didn't even care (not being mean...just that I would typically never do that).
Yay for yoga pants as well. Totally acceptable at most functions!
I'm thinking it was an FFFC. I could have sworn that we decided that sweat pants are bad, but yoga pants are acceptable. Or maybe that's just how I handle my own wardrobe...
I've BEEN that pregnant woman for quite a while now.
Actually, I was kind of like that BEFORE the pregnanct, minus the waddle.
I remember that FFFC. I'm all for yoga pants. As long as they don't say "PINK" or "JUICY" on the butt (well, lets just say no words anywhere on the pants). That's jut NMS.
