Surprise Ultrasound today!! Team Blue!!!!!

I had a regular check up today at the OB's office and evidently something happened because when I got there at 3:10 the entire waiting room was full of angry pregnant ladies. ?We ended up waiting 2 and a half hours to see our doctor and get out of there but the bonus was to save the doctor time the sonographer ?(or whatever) was giving free ultrasounds to get the babies' heart rates! SO while we were already looking at our adorable little baby I asked if she could tell and she zoomed right over and we got a REALLY clear picture that we are definitely having a boy!!! He was VERY active, squirming all over the place and his heart beat was strong and steady at 158. I couldn't be happier! Not to mention I'm going to see him again in a couple weeks at the specialists office to check on his heart and then again in 4 weeks for his anatomy scan!! We're gonna have a whole album of this little guy!!! SOOOO excited!! Hope everyone is having a Wonderful Monday!!?

That's so great that you got a surprise peak at LO, although it stinks that you all had to wait so long to see the Dr. Any idea what was going on?

They said they only had one doctor there today even though they have 5 on their staff.....I have no idea why they only had one today, maybe some emergency deliveries or something..

Any idea what was going on with your dr?

Are you going to confirm the sex at your a/s? I didn't think genitals were formed that early in pregnancy.

Yea I have 2 ultrasounds between now and July 11th so I'll ask them to look again, although I should post the u/s of it because its crazy clear. IDK why they only had one doc, there?must've been some emergencies today

I am sorry that you and so many women had to wait a long time, but I am sure it was for a good reason. That's wonderful that you got to have an extra ultrasound for free! Congratulations on finding out about your lil' guy

. I know 15 weeks is still a little early, but it sounds like you are going to have a few more ultrasounds in your future to confirm this exciting news!
