QOTD: The new LO will room with us in a bassenet until about 4 months old. At that point my guess would be they would have their own room - vs. rooming with big brother. Baby will likely still be waking up at night and it's just not fair to DS.

Update: still spotting, but I am hoping it means that this SCH is on it's way out. I have my NT scan next week and another follow up ultrasound with my OB two weeks from today...so at least I will get to see this little gummy bear a few more times and be reassured all is well.

LO#2 will start out in the PNP bassinet in our room until s/he is sleeping fairly well and only eating once, maybe twice overnight. At that point, we will move the baby into Anna's room and they will hang out together in there.

Not much to update on me. I am starting my 5th week on bed rest and as of last week I have not dilated anymore. In 2 weeks I have another growth scan and start twice weekly nst's. I am so happy that the babies are still cooking but this pregnancy and bed rest is one of the hardest things I've ever done!! Twins are tough!!

QOTW: The twins will be sleeping in our room for the first few months.

Today I am 30 weeks. Last Thursday I saw the ob. Everything is going good. I am only up 13 lbs and my blood pressure was 112/70 so good as well. I am now going to be seen every 2 weeks.

Tonight we went on a hospital tour. We are delivering at the same hospital as the boys but they did a complete new unit/ward for women and babies. We learned all about the new policies and are very excited about delivering there.

Where will the new LO room? With you? With LO#1? It the nursery alone? LO will room with us til he is sleeping mostly through the night. Once that happens he will move to the same room as the boys.

All's well here...nausea is back, which sucks, but what am I going to do??

S/he will be in our room for at least 6 months. We only have 2BRs at this time but are going to finish our attic space this summer to create a 3rd BR (actually the existing 2nd BR may turn into a living area if we decide to knock down a wall downstairs), and the kids will probably share the upstairs room eventually, at least for a while.

GabbeyH had her baby girl last week - Amaya! Congrats Gabbey and well wishes for a speedy recovery and release from the hospital!

Update: Had my 29w appt yesterday and everything looks good. Up 4lbs after losing a good bit of weight initially. I have also gained back all I lost so it is a total gain of 15lbs, but only up 4lbs from my prepregnancy weight. Feeling good, but the heat in DC was really tough on me. Hoping for a cooler summer up here in NY

The new baby will stay in our room for 6mo in the cosleeper or in bed with us. I am also thinking about getting a RNP sleeper. We will set up a makeshift nursery in this house, but we are hoping to buy before this baby moves to his/her own room.
