My LO is alllergic to soy, eggs, and peanuts, and most likely has a milk intolerance). How do you do it or do you do it? We are bringing DS's food at this point. Do you give them anything or go to a restaurant that is good with allergies (if that exists)? We are going away for a week and don't know what to do or how much food to bring. TIA

52 Choices For Better Health
It's rare that I find a restaurant I am comfortable with and order something for DS. I always check their website or email the corporate office first. But usually, I bring something for DS to eat.
He's only 2 so no one has questioned this yet but I've heard as he gets older we may experience push back from restaurants. Most don't allow outside food and I've heard of families being asked to leave because they brought food in.
When we are traveling, McDonald's chicken nuggets (without sauce), apples (again without the sauce) and apple juice are a Godsend. I've also had good experiences with Red Robin (they have a huge allergy binder they hand you so you can choose something appropriate) and Outback (ask for the manager and explain your allergy situation. Ask them to cook LO's steak/chicken in a clean pan without butter - their website suggests this). The group that owns Chili's also has good info on their website but we haven't been to Chili's yet.
My twins are 5! My baby is 3!
DS#2 - Allergic to Cashew, Pistachio, Kiwi
DS#3 - Allergic to Milk, Egg, Peanut, Tree Nuts and Sesame
I second Red Robin and Outback. Once you explain the situation, they're very helpful and understanding. We also have a fav chinese place where we know she's safe. She loves her some white rice and cumin lamb.
I am BF so it's me who has to worry about what I eat so it's a bit different, but I recently found this amazing website:
https://www.goeggless.com/
It doesn't address peanuts or soy, but milk and eggs. Of course, most restaurants cannot guarantee against cross contamination, but it's a start.

Allergic to Peas...so far
we bring all of his food. The only thing i ever order from a restaurant for him is a cup of fruit and/or sliced cucumbers
We recently flew to florida and i shopped a box of his food (oatmeal, milk, portable stove, pasta, cereal..) I also took with me on the plane almond butter so he pretty much had the same food every single day. b/c i had to make it as simple as possible.
BF: Oatmeal
snack: fruit from the restaurant
LN: almond butter / rice crisp balls or almond butter / chex sandwiches
snack: cucumber and/or fruit
DN: pasta with "cheese" sauce
this was every day for 6 days.
I also made enough pasta for 2 to 3 days so i only had to make his dinner twice while on vacation.
